This piece was an experiment of a limited colour palette, using mainly blue and green tones. The colours used can really change the mood of a work, and this definitely makes it more subdued compared to the bright pinks. This work is much more simplified than than the others. It was painted very quickly, and represents the landscape with bold gestural marks rather than fine detailed painting. This technique abstracts the scene further, along with the unnatural colour palette.
